Ukraine Trauma Retreats
Will you help those damaged by war to recover from trauma and to envision a future with Jesus at the center?
This project provides for those living with constant danger, fear and grief to have an opportunity for refuge and recovery. Ukraine Trauma Retreats temporarily relocate traumatized families to a relatively safer location in the Carpathian Mountains, east of the active war zones.
Multiply Ukraine partners with local churches and ministry organizations such as the Ukraine MB conference (AMBCU) and New Hope Center in Zaporizhzhya, helping to address the profound needs of the people of Ukraine, where war has added a dimension of trauma to needs that were already critical. In cities under active attack—such as Zaporizhzhya, Kyiv, Kherson, Vinnitsa, and others— ministry is especially challenging. People in these areas require not just practical aid but emotional and psychological healing. This is almost impossible while living with the unrelenting reality of drones, missiles and air raids sirens.
Your donations to this project provide families with a time of refuge, surrounded by those who will minister to their emotional wounds and strengthen them with prayer, fellowship and the Word of God. Multiply Ukraine volunteers oversee all activities, including prayer ministry and therapeutic sessions designed to facilitate holistic healing of minds, hearts, bodies, relationships and faith. There, in the restorative beauty of this region, a release of stress allows for the recovery of a normal family dynamic. As families spend time with God in the beauty of his creation, the eternal hope of the Gospel can become real to them again.
Here is a quote from one Trauma Retreat participant:
"We live and work in the frontline city of Zaporizhzhya, where it is impossible to be restored or to sleep at night with loud sounds and air raid sirens. To rest in the silence and beauty of nature in the mountains filled us with strength for further work, and for caring for others. Thank you so much for your help, during this difficult time for our country."

Your donation of $400 helps to cover the costs of transportation, accommodation, therapy and other activities for one family. Although at present only two families can be accommodated at one time, expansion is ongoing and retreats are offered on a continuous basis as funds are made available.
