“The Ebola outbreak in Uganda and Congo has not yet arrived in Burundi. In recent years, borders have been closed; perhaps an unintended result is that this is protecting Burundi from an outbreak. Burundi is already a tough place to live, with many hardships. Adding Ebola to the mix would be crushing to the people. Pray for their health to be protected and their immune systems to be strong. Pray also for good information on hygiene to reach the people, and for governments and health organizations to collaborate and prevent further spreading of the disease.”
He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers.
