“I am grateful to be back with the translation team, doing the consultant check that every draft requires. It is a lot of work, but I really enjoy the chance to slow down with scripture as I go through it verse by verse—it’s refreshing. There is no church yet in the particular dialect group we are doing translation for, but a related dialect has a church, and they have asked for help in getting scriptures adapted for their dialect. Please thank God with us for this group of believers! I’m a coordinator and mentor in a master’s program where four students are upgrading their knowledge and skills to be able to serve as translation consultants. Please pray for these students—they are very in demand as translators in their country, and keeping up with studies is a real challenge.”
