“Once a week during the school year we host a free after-school drop-in for around thirty kids between the ages of eight and twelve. We provide a hot meal, games, and a discovery group for anyone who wants to learn more about Jesus. One boy asked me, ‘Why do you guys do this for us?’ When I told him it was because we care about him and his friends, he hugged me. This kid had been the most difficult player on our summer soccer team; now he greets me with a smile! Pray that we will continue to connect with kids and talk about their spiritual questions each week!”
