Mae Sot Families School Registration & Clothing
Thousands of families have arrived from Myanmar in Mae Sot, Thailand because of the violence in their homeland. There is a large need in Mae Sot to help these families with school registration fees and some proper clothing for their children for school. The local MB churches in Mae Sot are actively teaching many of these Buddhist children about Jesus. Children’s ministry workers are going to the homes of these families and encouraging them to continue to give their children an education. However, most families cannot afford even the basic school fees and uniforms. Helping to pay for school fees and uniforms is a tangible way for the local church in Mae Sot to witness about Jesus’ redeeming love. Giving to this project allows you to participate with the local church in bringing the gospel and hope to these families. 100 CAD will pay for one child for one school term.
