Steyr Church Renovations
Would you help provide adequate facilities for our partner church in Steyr, Austria?
Freikirche am Schlosspark is the name of an MB church that is bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the community of Steyr, Austria. This church has existed in Steyr since 1958 and is part of the Mennonite Freikirche Österreich (MFÖ), or Mennonite Free Church association of Austria. After years of faithful service, these facilities are now in desperate need of new chairs to replace the old wooden chairs in their sanctuary. There is also a need for repairs and renovations of walls that have retained significant water damage over the years.
Funds donated to this project will go towards the purchase of new chairs for the sanctuary and the renovations needed to repair/replace damaged walls, at a cost of approximately 21,000 Euros (30,000 CAD). Multiply partners with the church in Steyr through its pastor, Timm Smutny, and in conjunction with Andreas Ortner, Chairman of the Board of the Mennonite Free Churches of Austria.
