Urgent Relief Chiang Mai Flooding

start a fundraising campaign Send a Note
Project Goal: $5,000
$0 Needed
Multiply workers in Chiang Mai province report that most neighborhoods in Rim Khan have been completely devastated by the worst flooding this region has experienced in fifty years. Wanchai (Ozz) Kumrod and his team are still helping many dig out the mud in what is left of their homes, even relocating some members of the community into the MB conference offices in Chiang Mai.

As the Thai MB churches are sharing whatever they have to care for the victims, many who previously have been opposed to having Christians meeting in their community are now expressing their gratitude for what the churches are doing. God is using this crisis to break down barriers, and the Church is fulfilling its mandate to be salt and light in the world.
Although the waters are now residing, there is still much recovery work ahead. Funds donated to this project will go toward food, bedding, clothing and other basic supplies for 100 families who have lost almost everything that they own.
