Bicycles for Pastors Reaching the Batwa People

start a fundraising campaign Send a Note

Will you help bring Gospel transformation among the Batwa people of DR Congo?

Ongoing political conflicts in Africa have reinforced existing divisions within society that leave certain people groups marginalized. The Batwa pygmies are among these groups as one of the poorest and most disadvantaged peoples in Sub-Saharan Africa. Today, God is changing lives among the Batwa as they are being reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Doug Hiebert, Multiply’s Regional Team Leader for Sub-Saharan Africa, describes how devoted pastors in DR Congo often travel long distances on foot in order to reach members of the Batwa people group, spread out widely across this nation. Donations to this project will help provide these pastors in DR Congo with bicycles to aid in reaching the Batwa with the Good News, greatly multiplying ministry among this people group.
