Saleh Bible Distribution is associated with River of Life Ministries, a network of national leaders in the Middle East and North Africa partnering together to mentor and equip local believers to evangelize, make disciples and develop new faith communities within their own nation. Our Regional Team Leader for ministries in North Africa and the Middle East is Nasser al’Qahtani, and one of his key partners in North Africa is Saleh (alias), overseeing the Come and See ministry. 

His North African nation has a population of 40 million people, of which 99% are Muslim. Saleh’s passion is to evangelize his country and disciple others to do the same. His training events bring together believers from a wide region, with some traveling up to 2,000 km. Every two weeks, Saleh and his team visit a different village to share the Gospel, distribute resources and pray for others. Though these encounters can and do result in violent persecution, they are not deterred. Saleh shares such stories reluctantly, not wanting to instill fear in his brothers and sisters in North Africa and the Middle East. 

“In truth, I am not afraid,” he says. “I feel love in my heart for those who oppose us, and I pray that they will come to know Christ. I am also reminded of how Jesus and the apostles told us that these things would happen. We are truly blessed when people insult us, persecute us, and falsely say all kinds of evil against us because of Christ.”

Donations toward this project will support the acquisition and distribution of Bible resources: 

  • Arabic translations of the complete Bible and of the New Testament
  • North African (local dialect) translations of the Bible
  • Pulaar translations of the New Testament
  • Amazigh translations of the New Testament
  • French translations of the Holy Bible
  • English translations of the Bible
  • Spanish translations of the Bible
  • Memory cards that include an audio Bible and devotionals in Arabic, Amazigh and French
  • MP3’s that include an audio Bible and devotionals in Arabic, Amazigh and French
  • Hard copy worship resources for house churches
