Reaching the Ethiopian Orthodox Church
Will you help bring the transforming message of the Gospel to Ethiopia?
In the Tigray region of Ethiopia, pastors from an eastern Orthodox church background are seeking renewal through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pastor Habtemicael is an MB pastor originally from the Tigray province of Ethiopia, now ministering in Winnipeg, Canada. Besides pastoring a church of Tigray and Eritrean people in Winnipeg, Habtemicael is laboring to see the Orthodox church in his homeland of Tigray transformed by the Gospel. Along with his brother Temie, they are discipling people in the Tigray region, sharing Jesus and encouraging and training pastors from the Orthodox tradition who are seeking to bring renewal to Tigray.
Donations to this project will go toward the launching of income-generating projects to help these pastors become self-supporting, help with the purchase of motorcycles to provide transportation for ministry, and help with the purchase and distribution of of Bibles and biblical resources that are otherwise beyond the means of most people living in this region.
