Discipling Philippine Students for Outreach

Would you help to equip students in the Philippines for local and global mission?

The Philippines is renowned for being a nation that sends missional workers to do outreach in other countries. Discipling young people and equipping them for this ongoing ministry is a strategic move for advancing the Kingdom of God worldwide. These young adults are the future leaders in global outreach; impacting their peers, families, churches, communities, and world for Jesus.

Local leaders in this country are launching a new project to make disciples among the student population. Two specific initiatives are underway in Brookes Point, on the island of Palawan: a youth outreach center, and a campus ministry initiative. In this area there are over 6,000 high school students and another 2,000 college students. Leadership for this will come from a recent Bible college graduate (Shawn) who is taking steps to find adequate rental facilities and begin partnering with local churches to evangelize, disciple, and equip students for effective local and global ministry. Multiply will be partnering with DMI and Tagusao Shore House of Prayer in Barong Barong, Palawan.

Project Funding

The total cost of this project for the first year is projected to be $12,000 USD; this amount will be reduced each subsequent year with the goal of having the project initiatives be self-sustaining through the launch of a small business venture in 3-5 years. Here are the initial needs for Philippine Students Outreach:

  • $2,500 will provide one worker with support and rent for one year
  • $2,000 transportation (motorcycle) for one worker
  • $1,200 venue rental for one year
  • $2,000 initial equipment and furniture needed for the youth center

Thank you for partnering with us!
