Discipling Philippine Students for Outreach
This giving thermometer tracks our goal of raising $5,000 to provide one worker with support and rent for a year.
God is up to something great in the Philippines!
Local ministry leaders in this country are engaged in making disciples among the student population. Two specific initiatives are underway in Brookes Point, on the island of Palawan: a youth outreach center, and a campus ministry initiative. In this area there are over 18,000 high school students and another 3,000 university students. Leadership for this comes from a recent Bible college graduate (Shown) who is partnering with local churches to evangelize, disciple, and equip students for effective local and global ministry. Multiply partners with DMI and Tagusao Shore House of Prayer (an MB church) in Barong Barong, Palawan.
Project Funding
The total cost of this project for one year is $11,000 USD.
Here are the financial needs for the Philippine Students Outreach:
- $5,000 will provide one worker with support and rent for one year
- $2,000 ministry supplies and travel costs per year
- $2,000 venue rental for one year
- $2,000 initial equipment and furniture needed for a youth center
