Burundi Harvest

Would you partner with us in reaching the people of Burundi?

Burundi is Africa’s second most densely populated country, and its inhabitants are among the poorest in the world. Our Burundi team is passionate about seeing this nation transformed through sharing the Gospel, caring for the poor, developing local leaders, and planting healthy churches. Through a key partnership with a national church-planting network, the Burundi team is involved in evangelistic campaigns as well as a multipronged ministry among the marginalized Batwa people group. A key strategy for these ministries is the Karubabi Center.

Karubabi Center reaches both the Batwa pygmy people as well as the broader community, bringing together different ethnic groups that do not normally associate with one another. This happens through the Karubabi Harvest elementary and secondary school, a medical clinic, a community development initiative for the poor, evangelistic outreach events, Bible studies, and visitation in remote mountains locations. Whole-life discipleship is bringing transformation to this country.

Funds for this project are being used to expand the facilities and scope of the Karubabi Center, including a conference room for school chapels, school assemblies, community events, and adult Bible studies.
