Amazon Vision Trip

Multiply is engaged in evangelism, discipleship, church planting and leadership development among the indigenous River Peoples of the Amazon in Brazil. This work is being overseen by our Latin America Expansion Team, a collaboration of diverse missional agencies partnering together to strengthen the reach of the Gospel in Latin America and Lusophone (Portuguese speaking) countries. The Amazon Vision Trip will serve to strengthen our partnership with indigenous people groups while exploring future missional ventures in the Amazon region.

DATES:  Thursday, March 27 - Saturday, April 5, 2025. There will be an intentional time of both team preparation and debrief via video conferencing.

COST: $2,300 USD | $3,300.00 CAD (due by March 1, 2025)

DEPARTING FROM: Manaus (MAO). Participants are responsible for flights into and out of Manaus. 

DETAILS: Participants will spend the first night in a Manaus hotel on March 27, then take an in-country flight from Manaus to Labrea on March 28 before embarking for the 7-day boat trip. Time on board the boat will be spent in team building, prayer, preparation for ministry, and, if desired, fishing.  At the villages, the team will engage with the Indigenous community through meals, community service, testimonies, and storytelling before commencing the return voyage and flight to arrive back in Manaus on April 4. Departure flights from Manaus are scheduled for April 5.

*NOTE: Yellow fever vaccination is required for the Amazon.
