Brooke’s Point Youth Center in the Philippines
In the Philippines, a country of more than 30 million young people 24 years old and below, discipling young people and equipping them for ministry is a strategic move for advancing the Kingdom of God worldwide. In Brooke's Point alone, there are over 18,000 high school students distributed among 18 high school campuses, and another 3,000 college students. In view of this, High School and university campuses have become a primary mission field. These young adults are the future church planters and missional leaders, impacting their peers, families, churches, communities and world for Jesus.
Multiply’s key national partner in the Philippines, Sam Arcano, provides leadership to church planting initiatives in Brooke's Point, Palawan, and his co-worker Shown Amporias oversees youth outreach and campus ministry. With a rapidly-expanding attendance of students, regular outdoor meetings are no longer providing sufficient shelter, and an indoor venue is urgently needed.
Funds donated to this project will go towards the immediate rental and eventual purchase and outfitting of a usable space at the Brooke’s Point National High School, which also provides a store front for future business as mission opportunities that will facilitate a self-sustaining ministry presence.
