Bangladesh Women’s Eyeglass Business & Discipleship Training
Despite the escalating opposition faced by Christians in Bangladesh, remarkable stories of salvation are emerging, as the Gospel is transforming people, families, and entire communities.
Violence and poverty among those living in this country have created a humanitarian crisis, and often it is the women who carry the responsibility of caring for their families, with very few resources or opportunities. By training these women in a marketable skill, opportunities for the Gospel to impact the displaced are multiplied.
During their training, women learn vision-related skills to test vision and make eyeglasses, as well as business skills that will help them to become self-sustaining. At the same time, they are discipled in their Christian walk, evangelism, prayer, leading Discovery Bible Studies, and more.
