Sangouane Ounbounheuang

Sangouane Ounbounheuang is a Southeast Asian believer who escaped as a refugee to Thailand before immigrating to Canada. After more than thirty-five years serving in pastoral ministry with an immigrant church in Ontario, Sangouane and his wife discerned God’s call to long-term ministry back in the country of their birth.
Over the years, Sangouane has travelled to his homeland twice a year for Peace and Community Development initiatives, to work with the local public school board to build new schools, and to connect with various underground churches in the capital city and southern central region of this country. His hope is to continue to serve as God leads, bringing the hope of Jesus to a country where the Gospel is often met with hostility and distrust.
