Lucas and Wenty Burhan
Lucas and Wenty Burhan serve as missionaries in Japan with their two daughters, Kiara and Kenisha. Before moving to Japan in 2024, Lucas served among the Baduy, an unreached people group in Indonesia, and worked in education. In 2026, the Burhans joined the Multiply team and now serve alongside a local Japanese church to share the hope of the Gospel.
Lucas leads youth ministry, Sunday school, and multilingual worship, while Wenty facilitates Discovery Bible Studies (DBS) and provides personal and pastoral care. Kiara and Kenisha also play an important role by building friendships and forming meaningful connections at school.
Together, the Burhans are committed to making disciples and seeing new churches planted in Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture. Their ministry begins among Indonesian migrant workers and the broader Indonesian community and extends to people from the many nations God brings across their path.
