The Challenge & Opportunity

A challenge for the global church is that many people have difficulty connecting with and discipling neighbors from different cultural backgrounds. Many feel inadequate, ill-equipped, and sometimes even fearful of doing or saying something wrong. You can help.

Multiply partners with WithYou.net, using an innovative missional app created to foster intentional discipleship. This app provides globally accessible and sustainable mentorship opportunities in the ways of Jesus, enabling individuals and groups to forge meaningful relationships with coaches and network leaders. Multiply workers who serve as project leaders for this mentorship are using the app to develop and facilitate accessible discipleship pathways in every global context—including regions where the Gospel is met with opposition and even persecution—as well as pathways for participants in Multiply’s Mission Training Programs.

An App for Multiplying Disciples

The WithYou app is about more than just the impartation of information; it is about belonging rather than structure, about the Holy Spirit rather than methodology. It’s a vehicle to provide vision, permission and equipping for everyone to live on mission. Various pathways to spiritual growth target every stage of the faith journey—from the disinterested, to those who are actively discipling new believers. As these discipleship networks grow, those who are mentored then become mentors who coach others. One-tap translation helps adapt the resources to any global context, and the app’s strict security features ensure privacy, protecting users who live in regions where there is religious persecution.

WithYou has moved from being an internally developed tool offered exclusively through Multiply, to being an externally available resource, with free download for iOS or Android and accessible worldwide through Apple and Android stores.

Who we need:

Church Leaders

Encourage those in your churches to connect with people from other cultures and become intentional disciple-makers. Invite someone from your church into a group that will walk alongside them in their cross-cultural mission journey.

Mission Trainers

Recruit, train and support cross-cultural disciple-makers by initially creating a WithYou group that includes you, a training participant and a coach who walks the participant through how to share the Gospel cross-culturally.

Network Leaders

Help equip disciple-makers from other cultures to reach the people in your own culture by providing cultural context, first steps, meeting outlines, and/or by recruiting culturally-aware coaches who will walk alongside them.
