All the way to my Doorstep
God answered our prayers and gave us an opportunity to serve together as a family in Panthong during our Spring break from Grace International School. I want to thank God.
While doing training with the Phanthong house church team, I taught about the practice of prayer walking. We met in a local coffee shop for one hour, then went out to prayer walk and bless the village where Khun De (the house church leader) lives.
While walking, we met a family who was about to eat together. We asked them, “Is there anything you would like Jesus to bless?”
At first, they said no. But after a while, one woman in the group told our team that she wanted Jesus to bless her health. A doctor had found a serious problem with her heart valve, so she wanted Jesus to heal her heart and make it normal. Our team prayed for her with the laying on of hands and invited her to come on Sunday to worship Jesus together at Khun De’s house, so she could know Jesus more. Then our team continued with our prayer walk.
Some days later, Khun De told us that after we prayed for this woman, she went to the hospital for her scheduled checkup. When she was examined, the doctor told her that her heart valve was normal. She was amazed!
The next Sunday, she brought her whole family to Khun De’s house early in the morning and asked, “When will we start worshiping Jesus? I want to worship already!”
Khun De told her it would start at 10:00 AM, and asked her to come back then. At 10:00 AM, she and her family returned, and she shared her testimony—that Jesus had healed her.
“When I first saw you walking and talking about Jesus,” she told us, “I didn’t want to listen. I went back inside my house. I didn’t expect that your team would walk all the way to my doorstep!”
Please pray for the church leaders in Panthong who are following up with this woman. May this healing be a seed that is planted in good soil and reap a harvest.
