Multiply workers in Japan are serving alongside local churches in community outreach initiatives focused particularly on street ministry and teaching English as a second language. In a country which has encountered significant economic recession in recent decades, many Japanese people struggle with depression and hopelessness, which has resulted in the country having one of the highest suicide rates in the world. In this context, the Church is leaning in to bring the hope of the Gospel along with valuable resources to help bring healing to this nation.
Soul Care® is a program that teaches the use of Biblical principles for healing the soul, ministering to past wounds, and overcoming patterns of harmful behavior and faulty thinking caused by the broken and sinful areas of our lives.
Funds donated to this project will go towards the translation and on-demand publication of this valuable resource.
