Sonny Mandagie
Sonny began his pastoral ministry among the Indonesian community in California before moving to British Columbia in 1990. In 2004, he helped lead the Indonesian congregation at Willingdon Church into a new season of ministry as House For All Nations International, with a vision to make disciples and reach the nations through church planting.
Throughout his ministry, Sonny has remained committed to developing leaders, strengthening churches, and equipping believers to share the Gospel. He continues to lead the Indonesian congregation while providing oversight and encouragement to other church campuses.
In his role as Asia Missions Catalyst with Multiply, Sonny is building relationships and exploring new opportunities for disciple-making and church planting across Asia. A particular focus is Japan, where he has been connecting with the growing Indonesian migrant worker community and seeking God's direction for future ministry.
Sonny's vision is to see churches and ministry partners working together to establish vibrant communities of faith among Indonesian migrants—communities that will, in turn, make disciples and share the hope of Jesus with Japanese people and other nations across Asia.
Through prayer, partnership, and a commitment to raising up local leaders, Sonny longs to see disciples making disciples and churches planting churches, that the world may know Jesus.
Sonny lives in Coquitlam, British Columbia, and has two adult daughters.
