Introducing Liam and Lindsay: Living the Gospel Among Newcomers
Liam and Lindsay are stepping into a new season of ministry to newcomers to Canada. From 2022 to 2024, Liam lived in an apartment beside Fort Garry MB Church (FGMB), building friendships through Bible studies, coffee conversations, and FGMB’s English classes. In 2023, Kailee Thiessen joined the ministry and eventually took over the apartment-based work.
As Kailee transitions out, Liam and Lindsay will move into the apartment on September 1, 2025, continuing this ministry together. They see this as a natural fit—a way to deepen existing relationships and connect with new neighbours. Their focus will be on hosting a weekly Bible study and living intentionally among the newcomer community, sharing the love and message of Jesus through friendship and presence.
In addition to this local ministry, Liam and Lindsay are working toward full-time roles with Multiply. They will support initiatives like the FOCUS internship program—helping with meals and practical needs—while also serving in broader Multiply activities.
Their passion is to see lives transformed through hospitality, discipleship, and everyday witness. With hearts open to God and their community, Liam and Lindsay are excited to step into this calling together.
