Western US Mobilizer

MULTIPLY Network is looking to hire a Western US Mobilizer to serve as the primary bridge between MULTIPLY Network’s (hereinafter referred to as Multiply) global mission efforts and the local church in their assigned region. This vital role coordinates the regional mobilization team to inspire and equip churches and individuals to engage deeply in developing leaders for local and global mission. Representing Multiply within the region of the Pacific District (PD) USA, the Regional Mobilizer fosters relationships with churches, mobilizes and trains disciples for mission, and strengthens partnerships with global workers and National Leaders.

Primary Job Functions/Essential Outcomes

  • Sending North American Missionaries by building and stewarding relationships with pastors, mission leaders, and churches, while consulting with Regional Team Leaders and missionaries for Long-term missionary opportunities in their regions and assisting churches to identify and discern those called to LTM assignments. At the same time partnering with National Leaders and connecting churches to Regional Team Leaders, National Leaders, and missionaries to strengthen global partnerships.
  • Help Everyday Disciples Multiply by supporting the Mission Training Program (MTP) Coordinator to integrate, innovate and align the MTPs (SOAR, TREK, ACTION, Life on Mission, etc.) in your region as well as orienting churches towards the lost by coaching and encouraging churches to reach their neighbors and to engage cross-culturally in their city.
  • Developing, coordinating, and communicating the integration of Multiply into the broader US vision and strategy with the USMB National Director and District Minister.
  • Pastor and lead the Pacific District Mobilization office staff, MTP staff, as well as volunteers from churches who are involved in MTP events. 

Qualifications/Requirements

Expectations

  1. Model the presence of Christ by fostering health in all relationships seeking to repair any relationships that are unhealthy. Be an agent of community transformation while diligently pursuing healthy patterns of communication with other Multiply Missionaries, your US Director and the Multiply International office, including budgets, goals, strategic planning, etc.
  2. Encourage and grow the spiritual maturity of North American prayer and financial partners via regular communication and prayer for them.
  3. Model Multiply values as outlined and agreed upon in the Multiply Christian Foundations and Standards.

Credentials:

  1. Strong commitment to Jesus, God’s Word, and prayer
  2. Strong relationship building and networking with leaders
  3. Leadership, planning and team building skills
  4. Must be a member in good standing within a Mennonite Brethren Church, baptized and professing to follow the MB Confession of Faith
  5. Completed a post-secondary education

Related Work Experience:

  1. Experience with church relationships 
  2. Cross-cultural short-term missions
