Congo
Join our Congo Team as they see the nation transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ through equipping missional leaders and planting of missional churches.
Congo is in turmoil due to political instability and a fast-growing population. The country is considered to have one of the biggest refugee crises in the world, with over 4.4 million displaced people. On top of this, endemic poverty ravages the country. As a result, the church is too often shallow and lacks understanding of her mission. Many churches are still living with a dependency-based mindset, and have not taken hold of their calling to multiply and reach beyond. There is a lack of mature disciples who can lead others. Our Congo Team is working to to see Congo transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the equipping and multiplication of missional leaders, and the planting of missional churches. The team is developing and delivering training material and modules for pastors, as well as offering courses on Bible, doctrine, mission and leadership to all church leaders. We invite you to join our team by praying, giving to further the ministry, and/or serving with us in DR Congo. As we work together, Congo will know Jesus. Could this be your team?
