What brings you joy as a disciple living on mission for Jesus?
For me, it’s always inspiring to hear the testimony of someone who has experienced salvation in Christ for the first time. There’s nothing more faith-building than to witness a life transformed by Jesus.
That’s why it was encouraging to read the recent newsletter from Germany by our national partners, André and Olga Pritzkau. They shared this story:
Heaven is celebrating and we are celebrating too. Yesterday evening, Mrs J welcomed Jesus into her life and was able to deny and let go of old bondages and to experience freedom in Jesus. Hallelujah! We are still amazed at what happened. God is so good—he is a Savior today! We had been spending time with Mrs J since we met her at the polling station where we were serving. She had mentioned to us that she was a descendant of the Huguenots, a group of Protestants that fled persecution in France and migrated to Germany. Thank you for all your prayers. Please continue to pray that this tender plant of faith would grow and become strong as a testimony of God’s grace to others.
When Jesus was teaching the parables about the joy of finding the lost sheep and the lost coin, he concluded each account with this statement: “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents” (Luke 15:10).
Our work can bring on celebrations in heaven every time the lost are found. Let’s keep that party in mind as we share our faith with others. For every person that finds salvation in Christ, the angels of God are rejoicing, and so should we.

Pray for Mrs J in Germany, that her new tender faith in Jesus would become strong, and pray for Olga and André to disciple her for the glory of God.

Pray for more celebrations in heaven and for the faithful sharing of the Gospel in your church and community, so that people will hear the Good News of Jesus and come to know the truth of salvation in Christ.
