Will you help reach South Asia?

You can play a role in this effort and help us cross the finish line by contributing towards our goal of $114,000, needed by July to furnish and equip the building. As you pray about what to give, please consider that:

  • $11 covers the cost of one chair for the conference hall where large sessions can be hosted (450 chairs are needed in total)
  • $160 helps provide participants with clean drinking water
  • $2000 will fully furnish a dorm room for multiple workers in training

We are grateful for your sincere commitment to the Gospel and for your faithful partnership with Multiply. I am writing to you today with a specific opportunity to help us complete a mission training center in South Asia while the time is ripe.

Currently, training takes place in less than adequate facilities.

“There are more unreached people groups in South Asia than anywhere else on the planet,” said John, our key partner in South Asia who represents a network of 56 church planters who are involved with 236 churches in three different countries across the region. “The Church in South Asia faces unparalleled opportunities for the Gospel, but we also face many challenges.”

John recognizes that tensions have only increased of late, mostly based on suspicions toward the Church and misunderstandings of the Gospel. Many believers share their faith at great risk of persecution, both from their own families as well as from their community, including the threat of violence.

Despite tensions and risks, many people are deciding to follow Christ. “The Gospel is good news to them,” John said. “They are choosing Christ because they are finding freedom, forgiveness and healing in his name.”

One of the key challenges that Gospel workers are facing in South Asia is finding adequate facilities for training. In many cases, rented buildings do not provide either the stability for ongoing use or the privacy necessary for proper training.

“We have been meeting under tarps, on occasion,” said John, “and moving around from place to place. For many years, I have dreamed of a training center where we could invite workers from the harvest fields, train them, feed them and send them back to their villages, refreshed in the Lord.”

Indore Building Under Construction
Construction as of April 2021

John’s dream is not far from being fulfilled.

For a number of years now, Multiply has been partnering with John to see this dream become a reality. Now, several other ministries and churches are working together with us to establish a multipurpose training center in the heart of South Asia. This five-story building will have a conference capacity of 450 people and provide lodging for up to 300 evangelists and church planters as they are equipped to help the work of the Gospel flourish in this region for many years to come. The land has already been purchased and construction of this facility is already well underway, but there are still multiple needs to be met before it is fully operational. In order to meet the building deadlines, all funds must be raised by the end of July 2021.

Will you join us in making this vision a reality by contributing financially to the final phase of preparing the training center for use?

In the future, this new training center will provide South Asian believers with the opportunity to participate in intensive discipleship-in-mission training, solid theological instruction and practical hands-on service opportunities that prepare them for fruitful ministry and missional leadership in their region and beyond.

Our brothers and sisters in South Asia often feel vulnerable and face opposition as they gather together for worship and for teaching. This new training center will provide a safe place for Gospel workers to be trained and equipped for ministry. We anticipate that this building will be a blessing to the Church of South Asia and a key tool for reaching thousands of people with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Thank you for considering this urgent opportunity. We are grateful to be working together that the world may know Jesus.
