SOAR Heartland gives you the opportunity to experience God’s love for Winnipeg and surrounding area. Learn to live as allies in our multi-cultural reality. Your eyes will be opened. Your heart will be changed. You’ll work closely with inner-city churches and ministries that are seeing the life-changing power of God at work in peoples’ lives. Be a part of experiencing the One who says, “I am the resurrection and the life” (John 11.25). You’ll be amazed at what God can do in you and through you in ten days.

Orientation

Be prepared. Three days of spiritual formation, team building and ministry training. Be filled by the Holy Spirit in order to pour out in ministry in the inner-city and beyond.

Assignment

Be hands-on. For five days your team will partner with a local church or ministry and you will participate in community transformation.

Debrief

Be mentored. This is a time to worship and reflect. We’ll help you process what you learned, and prepare you to re-enter your home church as you continue living out God’s call into your everyday life.
