Japan Children's Ministry
Would you help bring the Good News to the children of Japan?
The Hirano MB church is in downtown Osaka, Japan. Because of their ongoing high value of outreach to children and discipleship of children, many children have become followers of Jesus and as they have grown up, they are themselves reaching other children with the Gospel. The church is now looking for volunteers to support Pastor Sasada and his team of teenagers and adults in expanding this ministry, helping to plan and run a children's outreach program at two local parks during weekdays, and a children's worship service at the church building on Sundays. Participants would also be joining the local church in prayer, seeking to forge strong relationships with families of the children and other members of the community.
The team in Osaka is looking for people who are Spirit-filled, love Jesus and love children. Fluency in the Japanese language is not required. Minimum commitment is six months, with preference given to those who have skills and/or education and training in children’s ministries and sports. Participants will be responsible for raising their own support for this ministry assignment.
