Myanmar Church Planting in Thailand

Would you help bring the Gospel to Myanmar migrant workers and refugees in Thailand?

The Holy Spirit is bringing about transformation among the many Myanmar migrant worker and refugee communities that are scattered across Thailand. Despite the many challenges and hardships of being a marginalized people group adapting to a country, culture, and language that are not their own, Myanmar men, women, and children are encountering the radical hope of the Gospel.

Within the factories in Thailand, evangelists and church planters are hosting Bible studies and outreach events among the Myanmar workers. As new believers are discipled, emerging leaders are invited into a church planting internship program, where they are equipped to share the Gospel among their people.  As a result, we are seeing a multiplication of disciples who are making disciples, leaders who are training leaders, and churches that are planting churches. Myanmar evangelists, pastors and church planters are serving sacrificially among this least reached group, with a vision to see their people transformed by the power and peace of the Gospel.

Your generous donations to this project enable our team to reach into new factory and refugee communities - sharing the hope of the Gospel, bringing food relief to those in desperate need and continuing to train and empower new leaders. A contribution of $500 USD will send an intern to discipleship school, $150 USD will help support a pastor and their family for one month, and $300 USD will support a factory evangelistic event.

This project comes under the oversight of Multiply global workers Jeremy and Adrienne Penner, who are empowering national leaders and working toward a multiplication of new churches among the Myanmar migrant worker communities of Thailand. Thank you for your partnership.
