Philippines: Mission Motorcycle Project
In the Philippines, a country of more than 30 million young people 24 years old and below, discipling young people and equipping them for ministry is a strategic move for advancing the Kingdom of God worldwide. In Brooke's Point alone, there are over 18,000 high school students distributed among 18 high school campuses, and another 3,000 college students. High School and university campuses are a primary mission field; these young adults are the future church planters and missional leaders, impacting their peers, families, churches, communities and world for Jesus.
One of Multiply’s key national partners in the Philippines is Shown Amporias, who serves as the Youth Pastor in Brooke's Point and oversees youth outreach and campus ministry. As the Gospel is extending into more remote communities, a reliable means of transportation is urgently needed.
Funds donated to this project will go towards the purchase of a second-hand motorcycle to facilitate mission mobility—church visits, training, discipleship, urgent ministry needs, and outreach to remote communities for the sake of future church planting.
