Global MB Gathering - Thailand June 2027

This project helps selected emerging conference leaders connect with the global family of nineteen Mennonite Brethren conferences by paying their travel costs to an annual summit, taking place in June of 2027, in Thailand.

The International Community of Mennonite Brethren (ICOMB) serves to connect established and emerging global MB conferences, strengthen their local ministries and witness, and disciple emerging conference leaders. One of the ways in which this is done is through regular global summits, where leaders from member conferences can learn about what God is doing in and through our MB family all over the world, and have an opportunity to come to know and be known by other regional and national leaders.

The three-day summit offers an opportunity for global conference leaders to report on the churches in their region, share their unique challenges, be encouraged together, learn from one another, and pray together.

Donations to this project will help fund global leaders to attend a summit, be equipped through diverse workshops, have opportunities to examine MB history and theology, hear practical teaching on church growth and health, engage in current issues facing the global Church, and discuss how best to apply this knowledge to the vastly different cultural contexts.

This project is overseen by the ICOMB Executive Committee, in partnership with key Multiply and global MB conference leaders. Donors contributing to this project will be kept informed through reports from the field forwarded by our Donor Engagement Team.
