Casa Del Sembrador: Apartment Renovations
Casa del Sembrador is a residential facility supporting the development of national church leaders who are reaching the indigenous Wounaan of Panama and Colombia with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The facility provides accommodation for students of the Indigenous School of Discipleship in Yaviza Camp, Panama, where Multiply missionaries Einer and Girlesa Zuluaga are training up leaders among the Wounaan and Embera people. Casa del Sembrador also houses visiting missionaries, national and international short-term mission teams, and various gatherings of the Panamanian MB conference.
While revenue aims at self-sustainability, the harsh climate, seasonal floods, and lack of adequate security are a constant challenge. Donations to this project will go toward repairs, renovations, and expansion so that a steady revenue can be secured to meet all operational costs, as well as allow for consistent support of the various ministries of the Panamanian MB conference.
The Casa del Sembrador project is grounded in Multiply’s value of partnership in mutuality: indigenous volunteer tradesmen carry out all manual work, national Wounaan partner Milda hosts the site, Multiply missionary Lavern Pratt serves alongside her, and ministry initiatives are overseen by Multiply’s Einer and Girlesa Zuluaga and national leader Obdulio Isarama. These healthy partnerships not only encourage and strengthen individual leaders and missionaries, but leads to even greater fruitfulness in mission.
