Missional Leadership Training (MLT) Administrative Assistant

MULTIPLY Network’s MLT Team is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to support the Team Leader and the other MLT Team members who are developing and coordinating the MLT program. This includes supporting the ongoing partnership with MB Seminary and working with the systems and programs that can support the MLT program. MLT is sponsored by Multiply, the International Community of Mennonite Brethren (ICOMB), and the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary (Canada). Missional Leadership Training Lead Team oversees the development and delivery of MLT to ICOMB and emerging conferences. 

This role is an affirmed by the Mennonite Brethren denomination in Canada into administrative service with MULTIPLY Network (hereinafter referred to as “Multiply”).

Responsibilities

1. Building and Maintaining Partnerships 

2. Support the MLT Team Leader and MLT Team 

3. Development Support 

4. Delivery Support 

5. Budgeting for MLT 

6. Standard Operating Procedures for MLT 

Expectations

  1. Model the presence of Christ by fostering health in all relationships, seeking to repair any relationships that are unhealthy. Be an agent of community transformation. 
  2. While carrying out these Responsibilities and Expectations, you are also expected to: 

Working Conditions 

  • Work from home and the Multiply Abbotsford office 
  • 22.5 hours total per week
  • Regular office hours (8:30am – 4:30pm) 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

Credentials: 

  • Must be a baptized member of an evangelical church, living in agreement with the MB Confession of Faith and affirmed by the local church 
  • An outstanding reputation in family, community and church life. 

Core Competencies: 

  • Administration and Organizational abilities such as data, financial management and scheduling 
  • Project management 
  • Competent with Google / Excel Sheets / Google Drive 
  • Comfortable managing InDesign / design files 
  • Moodle Learning Platform (willing to have the candidate learn this on the job) 
  • Self initiator and able to self manage 

Related Work Experience: 

  • Project management, bookings, data entry, supply management, client registrations, billings, receipting, payments, filing, and customer/donor coordination.
