Ferral & Cherie LaDelle
Ferral and Cherie LaDelle, missionaries in the city of Winnipeg’s North End, believe that no one is too broken to be healed and transformed into the image of Jesus. In this urban community, rich in relationship but challenged by the daily struggles of systemic poverty, Ferral and Cherie feel that the Church is called to strip down to its roots in a way that gives the people of this neighborhood a sense of ownership—not just a food bank with a sermon, but an actual church plant that belongs to their own community.
Cherie’s seminary degree and heart for ministry led her to pastor a church in this area for eight years, while early life traumas uniquely equipped Ferral to lead others from the rags of victimhood to the glorious armor of freedom that comes from submission to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
