Support Workers needed for Campus Ministries in the Philippines

Would you help reach thousands of Filipino and international students with the Gospel?

This very new ministry was recently launched on university campuses of the island province of Palawan by pastor Shown, serving under national MB leader for the Philippines San Arcano, based in Baguio City. Shown has embraced a role of being a campus pastor in order to reach out to the thousands of Filipino and international students attending multiple campuses. His vision is to build deep relationships that will lead to Gospel conversations, conversions, and ongoing discipleship. Shown also serves the local community and churches in Palawan.

The Palawan team is looking for workers who will support their national student ministries team leader, build relationships with students on campus, assist in planning and implementing of various ministry initiatives (arts, music, media, sports, evangelism, tutoring, and more), disciple new believers, and potentially teach English to international students. An undergraduate degree is required, with a Bible College or seminary degree preferred, and volunteers would be asked to participate in one of Multiply’s short-term mission training programs to prepare for this service.

This assignment is well suited to teams of young adults, or a single person or couple who have a passion for seeing students come to know, love and follow Jesus. Flexibility and humility are important personal traits for this role, as is flexibility and the ability to adjust to plans which may change suddenly. A close personal relationship with Jesus and the ability to listen to and follow the Holy Spirit are essential.

The earliest date for this position is August of 2022, with a time commitment of three to four years. Volunteers will be responsible for raising their own support for this ministry assignment.
