Central Canada

9 months — ages 21 +

Go deeper in relationship with God and with others

More than just a short-term mission experience, Central Canada TREK is an intense discipleship-in-mission opportunity that puts you alongside local church leaders and long-term mission workers. Our vision is for "Disciples who make disciples."

TREK begins with an 10-week orientation bases in Manitoba, followed by a 7-month assignment. Participants choose between an international assignment, or a Canadian church internship. The program closes with a 2-week debrief back in Manitoba.

This opportunity is for mature Christians who want to go further in their walk with God, and broader in their understanding of leadership and ministry. If you desire to be real with God, inspired in the company of believers, serve in local or overseas ministry, and discern next steps in your walk with God, Central Canada TREK may be the direction for you.

Participant Requirements: TREK is open to young adults age 21+ and families.

Our Orientation will be based in and around Winnipeg, MB. These weeks will be filled with a combination of team building, ministry training, and spiritual formation. Through worship, teaching sessions, and hands-on learning opportunities, participants will grow deeper in their walk with God and in their understanding of what it means to engage in a lifestyle of mission.

This is your chance to put into practice what you've learned at orientation. Central Canada TREK is unique in that it offers two very different assignment opportunities. Participants choose to be part of a team that serves in an international location alongside long-term mission workers, or to participate in a local Canadian church internship. Many local internships have the opportunity to extend beyond the TREK program.  All participants from both tracks will be together for the 10 week orientation and 2-week debrief.

A time to rest, recover, and process your experience, as well as prepare to “re-enter” your home culture. An emphasis will be placed on discerning next steps in ministry and what God is inviting you from here.
