Senior Global Support Staff for Church Leaders in the Philippines

Would you help support the national leadership of the MB churches in the Philippines?

This role is a multi-faceted opportunity for an experienced leader with church and denominational leadership experience to come alongside the national leadership of the Filipino Mennonite Brethren conference of churches. Aspects of this support role would include joining the team and providing support to the key Filipino church leader Sam Arcano; coming alongside other church leaders to provide coaching regarding conference structure and leadership development; liaising with North American supporting churches; encouraging and praying with church planters and conference leaders in the Philippines; and supporting local Filipino churches with in-person and virtual visits. Ministry activities may include church planting, community development projects, evangelism, discipleship, leadership development and management, and theological education. 

The team in the Philippines is looking for someone with Bible College or Seminary training, experience in MB conference leadership and development, and pastoral leadership experience. Cross-cultural skills and/or experience is highly desirable, as is a credentialed status with the MB denomination.

The earlies start date for this position is September of 2022, with a ministry assignment term of one year (minimum) to three years (preferred) through Multiply’s Global Servant or FOCUS Internship programs. All workers are responsible for raising their own support for this assignment.
