Bible Training Facilitator for Malawi & Uganda

Would you like to strengthen the faith of fellow believers in Malawi and Uganda? Low Bible literacy rates in these regions invites a simple, relational approach to Bible training, where we are living out the Gospel in an incarnational way. The location for this project is in Mityana, Uganda, and near Lilongwe, Malawi. Each of these settings is experiencing healthy church growth, and a multiplication of missional leaders involved in church partnerships. Solid Bible instruction is an essential and ongoing need, particularly in Malawi.

Responsibilities:
Your role will involve community outreach, evangelism, discipleship, and imparting a basic theological education. As a Bible Trainer, you will be responsible to facilitate the teaching of Multiply's Missional Leadership Training modules, with the goal of enabling and discipling locals for this task. You will also come alongside national leaders to help in facilitating small group Bible study. 

Qualifications: 

Some form of formal Bible training is required, and teaching experience is preferred. International, cross-cultural experienced is highly desired.

Commitment:

The earliest start date for this project would be 2021-09-06. While the ideal commitment would be a long-term assignment of one to eleven months, there is also an option for regular, annual short-term assignment of several weeks to several months per year. This project allows for participation through our Global Servant Internship programs.  

Funding:

Participants will be responsible for raising the full support for their ministry assignment.
