Supply an Embroidery Machine for Refugee Women to Develop a Business

Freedom for Women in Thailand

Multiply workers in Chiang Mai have been engaging with young women in a Juvenile Detention Hall through teaching English classes and studying the Bible weekly. Many of these women, once released, are at high risk to reoffend and return to the drug trade or to sex trafficking. The Freedom Trades program reaches out to those recently released and offers them an opportunity to learn a marketable skill, such as sewing, baking, music, and hairdressing. More recently, the Freedom Trades network has expanded to help women who are refugees, providing them with the means to have a sustainable income for their families.

Freedom Trades vocational training is done in the context of discipleship, bringing deep transformation through a personal relationship with Jesus. Your donations to these projects will change the trajectory of a woman’s life and help reach the next generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
