Provide a Sustainable Food Source for At-Risk Women in Thailand
COVID-19 and the resulting economic crisis have impacted the quality of food available for the young women who are living within the walls of the Chiang Mai Juvenile Detention Center. Your donations to this project will be used to create garden boxes inside the center, where residents will be taught to plant various sustainable food sources to enhance the overall nutritional value of their meals. They will also learn to make marketable prepared foods, a skill which will help them to support themselves once released from prison. This is a new venture within the vocational skills program of Freedom Trades.
